This anthology brings together creative non-fiction by immigrant seniors in Calgary, produced through the Community Initiatives for Immigrant Seniors Program (CISP) in partnership with Mount Royal University. Centred on the theme of “roots,” the collection reflects on heritage, memory, migration journeys, and the process of building a sense of home in Canada. Through personal reflections shaped in collaborative writing workshops, seniors share stories of where they come from, what grounds them, and how their identities continue to grow in a new place.
